This Sunday, May 19th, we continue our series in the New Testament book of Acts entitled "A 4G Church: Then and Now" This week's message is from Acts 2:1-13 and will focus the church's ultimate source for carrying out it's mission and is entitled: "A Powerful Beginning and Power for Today." Our "4G" emphasis parallels a strong 4G cell phone signal and reception. As we emphasize the 4 "G's" of the Gospel, spiritual Growth, discovering the gifts and abilities God placed in us so that we can Give in serving Him, and being willing to Go into all the world with the Gospel, we will send forth a strong signal for the kingdom of God! We at First Church of the Brethren are thankful to God for placing us in the midst of the Waterford community. On a typical Sunday morning at our church, men, women, and children of all ages gather for worship and encouragement. Our congregation has a warm, welcoming, "family" feel to it. We also have a deep desire to honor, share, and serve Jesus Christ.
